Mr. Montenegro Will Serve 1stWEST M&A Clients with “Sell-Side” M&A,
Equity Recapitalization, and Business Valuation Services
Evergreen, Colorado, USA – December 12, 2022 – 1stWEST Mergers & Acquisitions, a leading global lower-middle-market investment bank, just announced it has appointed Sergio Montenegro as a new Brazilian Managing Director for the Company. Mr. Montenegro will help lead efforts by 1stWEST M&A to offer comprehensive international M&A, equity recapitalization, and business valuation services for companies in multiple Brazilian regions. Mr. Montenegro will focus on Brazil’s South and Midwest regions.
Founded in 1911 by H.A. Miller, the Miller Lumber Company has served the tri-county (Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook) region of Central Oregon for more than 110 years.
Mr. Montenegro Sergio holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UF Paraná, and a postgraduate degree from Fae – Business School and Management from Fundação Don Cabral.
Mr. Montenegro has 35 years of experience in the areas of sales and after-sales; import, export and logistics; as well as distribution and services with renowned brands of trucks, buses, and automobiles, such as Scania and Volvo. He has focused mainly in Brazil’s South and Midwest regions.
Mr. Montenegro has a strong organizational sense, as well as highly developed communication and reporting skills. He also has a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high performance and interdisciplinary teams.
Mr. Montenegro is fluent in his native Portuguese, as well as in English, French, and Spanish.
He lives in Curitiba and has a deep background in agri-business (a family legacy) and he intends to leverage his multi-sector knowledge to develop M&A opportunities in multiple areas.
