Hernan Gonzalez brings over 30 years of business experience in the chemicals and textiles industry, consumer products, oil & gas and consulting sectors. Hernan is uniquely qualified to expand our 1stWEST M&A activities in Monterrey, Mexico and throughout Mexico.
Hernan has served as Director in charge of International Development for the Cydsa Group, a Monterrey based industrial conglomerate with business units in chemicals and textiles. Mr. Gonzalez through Falcon Management Partners and Dupla Inversiones provided cost savings solutions and consulting services to the oil and gas industries. For over 20 years, he has served as a consultant and representative to dozens of companies in Mexico, the United States and Europe. He serves on the Board of Directors at the Monterrey Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Vice Consul of Japan in Monterrey and for eight years, was Vice Chairman of the Mexico-Japan Business Committee within the Mexican Council for Foreign Trade. He is also a board member and a former President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of Monterrey, and served as a board member of the Washington based, U.S. – Mexico Chamber of Commerce.Hernan Gonzalez received an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the Monterrey Technological Institute in Monterrey, Mexico.
